Examination TextTabitha Pearson aged about 48 years lodging at Mr Walgraves in Mercer Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of John Pearson (who died about 12 years ago) to whom she was married at the Fleet about 14 years ago, that her said husband was bred up to the Sea and was born in Yorkshire, but the particular part she cannot tell, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father John Oram was a Painter by trade and lived in and rented a house in Coventry Court in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for several years at the yearly rent of 20 pounds besides taxes and there died. Sworn the seventh Day of October 1760 before Thomas Kynaston.
