| Examination Text | Thomas Marlow aged 42 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is a Taylor by trade and lived in rented an house in Champ Court in White Hart Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 18 months at the yearly rent of 10 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 12 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since. Taken the workhouse of 22nd Day of May 1760. |
