| Examination Text | John Hendrick aged 39 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he never was married, that he was a yearly hired servant to Lawrence Quin, a Victualler in Suffolk Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of 18 months at the yearly wages of 6 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 15 months ago, that he never kept house rented a 10 pounds by the year paid the Parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since. Taken the workhouse of 21st Day of April 1760. |
