Examination Text | Mary Williams aged 22 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was yearly hired servant to Mr Rushworth who lodged at Mr Denmark's in that part of Russell Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and upwards at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same three years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since. Taken in the workhouse of 23rd June 1760. |
