Examination Text | The Examination of Catherine Gray taken on oath this 18th Day of October 1766. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is 27 years of age, that she never was married, that she was on or about the 18th Day of December last delivered at the house of Mrs Woodstock near the sign of the Adam and Eve in Petty France in the Parish of St Margaret within the liberty of Westminster of a female bastard child (since christened Sarah) yet living and is become chargeable to the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields. Sworn the day and year abovesaid before Peter Planck, Thomas Kynaston. |
