Examination TextSusannah Wintle aged 36 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father John Wintle lived in and rented an house known by the name of Old Man's Coffee House near Scotland Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of nine years at the yearly rent of 60 pounds besides taxes as she this Examinant hath been informed, that her father never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes after he quitted the aforesaid house. Sworn the 25th day of September 1766 before Peter Planck.
