Examination TextGrace Smith aged 27 years passed from the parish St Luke in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Cole a Victualler at the sign of the Dukes head in Phenix Alley in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and five months at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 13 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that she never was bound an apprentice. Sworn the 16th Day of April 1771 before Peter Planck.
