| Examination Text | The Examination of Phebe Shaw taken upon oath this 17th Day of October 1770. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is 28 years of age, that she never was married, that she was on the 19th Day of December last delivered at a house known by or called the Queens Hospital in the Parish of St. Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex of a female bastard child (since christened Martha) yet living and is become chargeable to the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields. Sworn the 17th Day of October 1770 before Peter Planck, Thomas Kynaston. |
