| Examination Text | The Examination of John Kingston lodging in Lumley Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken this 22nd August 1772. This Examinant on his oath saith that he is 44 years of age, that he kept house jointly with his Mother Mary Kingston in Off Alley in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and lived in the said house for the space of one year at the yearly rent of 12 pounds besides taxes, the last quarter of which rent he this Examinant paid and took the receipt of the landlord in his own name. Sworn the day and year abovesaid before Charles Marsh. |
