Examination TextRobert Brown aged 66 Years upon his Oath saith that he lived in rent a House , known by the Sign of the Angel in Cecil Court in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of Three Months at the Yearly Rent of £26 the said Taxes quitted the same in the Year 1759 since which he had not Kept House rented Ten Pounds by the year paid any Taxes nor done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that he was married to those late Wife Martha at St. Annes Soho about 30 Years ago by whom he had issue Two Children to Alexander aged 29 Years and Isabella born Nov 17th/70 him have done any Act to gain a Settlement in their own Right. Sworn this 14th Day of January 1792 before John Collick Robert Brown NB he & his Daughter removed from St James Jany 13/92 he served 6 Mths served an Indenture to a Cooper in Long Acre
