Examination TextElizabeth Savage aged 56 years lodging at Mr Night [sic] who keeps a cloaths shop in Church Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of George Savage, that since the death of her said husband (she having no child living) she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Hagan a Smith in Russell Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of 13 months all at one time at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about eight years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the seventh Day of December 1780 before Jacob Fletcher.
