| Examination Text | John Bourne aged about 56 lodging in Marygold Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he is a Stocking a Frame Knitter by trade, that he lived in and rented an house in Martlett Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly rent of 20 pounds besides taxes, that he quitted the said house about 10 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds but the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the fourth Day of January 1781 before William Hyde. |
