Examination Text | Susannah Lane removed by an order of two Justices from that part of the Parish of St Andrew Holborn which lies above the Bars in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the same county upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to James Wallis Esq near Scotland Yard in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of six years and an half all under one hiring at the yearly wages of nine Guineas diet and lodging, quitted the same about six months ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 26th Day of September 1778 before Sampson Wright. |
