Examination Text | The Examination of Hannah Morley lodging at Mr Rivell's a Corn Chandler in that part of Burleigh Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken this 27th Day of March in the year 1778. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is 40 is of age, that she was never married, that she was on the 17th Day of September which was in the year 1760 delivered at the house of Mrs Robinson's the corner of Great Pye Street in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist in the city of Westminster in the County of Middlesex of a Male bastard child (since christened Joseph Archibald) yet living now with this Examinant and is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that the said Joseph Archibald never was bound an apprentice, nor was yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together.
