Examination Text | William Wells aged 48 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he never was married nor bound an apprentice, that he was yearly hired servant to Mr Mohan a Harpsichord maker in Golden Square in the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of Westminster for the space of one whole year all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 10 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 18 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
