| Examination Text | Esther Girardot aged 54 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow widow of Peter Girardot (who died about one year ago), that since the death of her said husband she this Examinant hath lived in and rented an house in St Martin's Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of nine months at the yearly rent of 34 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same at Michaelmas last and hath been lodging in the said house till she came into the said workhouse.
