Examination TextJames Sibley aged about 43 years destitute of lodging upon his Oath saith That he never was bound an apprentice, That while Single and Unmarried he was a yearly hired servant to John Sherman a Victualler at the Sign of the White Horse the corner of Moors Yard in Saint Martin's Lane in the parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of One Year and an half all under One hiring at the yearly Wages of Forty Shillings diet & lodging, quitted the same about twenty eight years ago, That he never kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor been a yearly hired Servant in any one place for twelve months together, That he was married to his present Wife Eleanor at the parish church of St Giles by Cripplegate in the City of London about seven years ago, now with this Examinant. Sworn the 14th Day of December 1781 Before William Hyde.
