| Examination Text | John Jarratt aged about Sixty Years (in the Workhouse) past from the parish of St Bride's London Saith he was marryed to Isabella his wife at St James Church about twenty eight Years ago but hath no Child by her Saith his Wife hath been gone from him a great many Years and that he doth not know whether she be now living or dead Saith he kept a House next Door to Mr Barratt's a Brandy Shop in Church Lane in this Parish four years and an half paid twenty two Pounds yearly Rent and quitted it Twenty Years ago since which he never kept any House rented Ten Pounds by the year or paid any Parish taxes |
