Examination TextElizabrth Garvin aged twenty nine years lodging at one Mrs Morris in Bedford Bury where she hath lodged three nights and before that at once Mrs Ayers in Half Moon Street in the parish of St Martin in the ffields Saith she is the wife of Hugh Garvin gone from her about four months to whom she was marryed at the hand and pen in the fleet five years ago That he is by trade a Shoemaker and served his time to one Mr Bell at Charing Cross That he kept house in a former wife's Time in Drum Alley in Drury Lane in the parish of which he paid eight pounds by the year rent but no Taxes That he never kept any other than the aforesaid house in Drury Alley never rented ten pounds by the year nor was a yearly hired Servant Saith she hath no children but is big with child the Exam of Mary a former wife to this Effect L24 P99 Sworn the Day of Before
