Examination TextDorothy Fox aged thirty Seven years saith she last night lodged in Hartshorn Lane and that she came out of the countrey the Day before where she had been to work Saitrh she is the widow of Stephen Fox who died at Canterbury about Six years ago That he was bound by Indenture for Seven years to a Sea Captain the last two years whereof he served him in Northumberland Court in this parish but how long it is since the Expiration of that time this Examinant knows not Saith that he never was a year in any Service after the Expiration of his said Apprenticeship nor never kept house rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes Saith also that she hath never been in any Service since nor marryed and that she hath one Daughter only who is an apprentice in the parish of St Giles in the fields Sworn the Day of 1734 before
