Examination TextThe Examination of Susanna Ward taken on Oath this day of Augt Anno Domini 1732 Who on her oath saith she is upwards of 18 years of age & that she was delivered of a male Bastard child on Sunday the 30th day of July last since Christened Alexander and this Examt further on her oath Saith that one Alexander Dundas Esqr who is gone to Porto Bello as Govr in ye South Sea Service had carnal knowledge of her Body ye house of one Mr Longwood a Merchant in Throgmorton Street on a Bed two pair of Stairs forwards in the said house in the mouth of Sepr last this Examt being then a Servt there & Mr Dundas a lodger and that he had carnal knowledge of her Body afterwards in the said house and that he the said Alexander Dundas is the true and only father of the said Male Bastard child & no man else
