| Examination Text | Edward Bartlet aged about 52 years in the workhouse past from St Ann Westminster saith he was married to Sarah his wife near Stocksmarket in a Church but don't remember the name of it about 23 years agoe Saith he is by Trade a Staymaker and Served his Time of 7 years in Duke Street near Leicesters Fields to one Mr Everet there which expired about 27 years agoe and never was a yearly hired servant since Saith he kept in Long Acre near Banbury Court over against Mercers Street 7 years paid 30£ Pr Ann Rent and parish Taxes left the same about 12 or 13 years agoe and never kept House Rented 10£ Pr Ann or paid any Parish Taxes since Hath two children Henry Oliver Bartlett aged about 20 years a Face Painter and Ann aged about 14 or 15 years works plain work |
