Examination TextRichard Booth aged about 63 years Saith he Lodged lately at one Mr Panleys in Browns Gardens in the Parish of St Giles in the Fields Saith that he was by Indenture bound an Apprentice to his Father Richard Booth of Manchester in the County of Lancaster Carpenter (since deced for the Term of Seven years and Served him that time aacordingly expired in or about ye Year 1692 after which he worked as Journeyman with his father for about fifteen years and then was a yearly hired Servt to one Mrs Ann Fowles and her Daughter who then lived in St Pauls Church yard London for about three years and quitted that Service at the time of their Deathes, And this Examt further Saith that he afterwards took a House in Angell Court Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the fields which he kept about Eleven years paid £10 10s Pr Ann Rent and Parish Taxes left the same about three years agoe and never was a yearly hired Servant or Housekeeper nor Rented £10 Pr Ann afterwards hath Three Children Vizt Martha aged 12 years Mary 8 years and Ann upwds of 5 Years.
