Examination TextApril 2d 1731 William James Aged abt 42 Years now Lodging wth his Father at the Rose in White hart Yard Saith he is a Widower and that he is by Trade a Perfumer of Gloves and was bound an Apprents by Indenture for the Term of Seven Years to his Father Richard James a Perfumer who then did live in little Catharine Street where he served his whole time and that his said Father now lives in White hart Yard in this Parish and that his time Expired about 19 years agoe and since the Expiracon thereof he hath worked at his Trade wth his said Father as a Journeyman foe Severall years that he never lived a year together in any Service whatsoever as a yearly hired Servt never kept house not Rented £10 Pr ann was born inSt Giles's Parish hath 2 Children Vizt William upwards of 6 years and Elizabeth upwards of Two Years
