Examination TextAnn Alcock aged about 55 Yeares can lodging last in Bedford Bury Saith that she is the widow of George Alcock who died about Eight yeares agoe was married to him at a Church in Wood Street in the City of London about Eighteen years agoe Saith he was by Trade a Callico Printer and was bound an Apprentice for Seven yeares to One Mr Groves in Leaden Hall Street and Served all his time there Saith he since Rented a Side of a Shop a Room and a back Kitchen near the Heathcock in the Strand 5 yeares and paid £12 Pr Ann Rent but no Taxes Saith there is but one Door belonging to the whole shop So that every person belonging to te House had passage through the said Shop to their respective Apartments Saith they left the sd Shop and Rooms about fourteen yeares and never kept house of or Rented £10 Pr Ann since Saith she never was a yearly hired Servt Since the Decease of her said Husband
