Examination TextElizabeth Horton aged about 29 Years Lodging as one Mr Seales in Russell Court, Says she is the Wife of George Horton, who hath been from her about four Months, That she was married to him and the Parish Church of St: Leonard Shoreditch about 14 Years agoe, Saith he was never bound an Apprentice, That she never kept house, Saith he never Rented £10 by the Year, Was a yearly hired Servant to one Colonel Barnes who Lodged in Dukes Court at the time of her Marriage with him but how long before knoweth not, Saith he was a Trooper in Oxford's Horse, That he was Born in the Strand near Charing Cross where his ffather kept house as she hath heard her said Husband say But what Rent he paid knoweth not And that he never kept house afterwards as she knoweth or ever heard hath two Children VIzt: Joseph aged about four Years & Joshua aged about six Months.
