Examination TextCharles Harding aged 26 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of New Brentford in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he never was bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that his Father Charles Harding lived in and rented a that part of the Horse Guards commonly known by the name of the Horse Guards Suttling House in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 14 months at the yearly rent of 60 pounds, but that his Father never paid any parish taxes for the same, quitted the same about February 1766, that his Father hath not kept a separate tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since to this Examinant's knowledge.
