Examination TextJane Shields near 15 years in the workhouse was never married nor bound apprentice, was a yearly hired servant to Mr Jones a Jeweller at the Three Pidgeons in the Strand against Hungerford Market for the space of eight months, never lived a year with any person, her father James Shields a Taylor kept house in Vine Street of 10 pounds per ann. several years, that her father and mother are both dead and have so been about six months and never kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes after the house in Vine Street.
