Examination TextAnne Griffiths aged near 20 years removed from St Giles in the Fields saith she is the wife of John Griffiths (a soldier in General Honeywood's Gragoons at Colchester as she believes) and that he is by trade a Plaisterer and was bound apprentice by indenture for seven years to his Father Warren Griffiths, a Plaisterer who now lodges and then lodged within two doors of the bottom of Charles Court in the Strand whom he there served all his said apprenticeship, she knowing him the last half year thereof, which expired four years ago, that since which he never kept house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, that she was married to her said husband at the Hand and Pen corner of Fleet Lane the 9th of October 1739. Sworn the 17th Day of March 1741 before me Val Hilder.
