Examination Text | Elizabeth Allen aged 21 years saith that she lodges at one Mr. Webbs in Marygold Court, that she never was married nor kept house rented 10 pounds per ann. or paid any parish taxes but was a yearly hired servant to the said Mr Webb who then kept the sign of the Hoop and Bunch of Grapes in Denmark Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex where she served him two years, then he removed into Marygold Court in the said parish where she hath served him six weeks and had 3 pounds per ann. diet and lodging for the same and was discharged last night. Sworn the 5th March 1741 before me Val Hilder. |
