Examination TextAnn Vaughan is aged about 43 Years Lodging at one Mr Hinks's in Sheer Lane by Temple Barr from whencer she was passed Saith she is the Wife of Thomas Vaughan who is now in Diets Ward in St Bartholomew's Hospitall, That she was married to him in North Wales six Years last October Saith he is a Cook, That he was bound an Appren by Indre for Seven Years as he hath Informed her to one Mr Croft at the Rummer Tavern at Charing Cross in this Parish & that he Served the said Mr Crofts there the Whole Term which expired about 3 quarters of a Year before Marriage with her said Husband Saith he never kept house, That he never Rented £10 Pr Ann or paid any parochial Taxes to any Parish hath one Child by her said Husband Ann Vaughan aged five Years last August She has of the Indre and upon enquiry received Information he did serve his time with Mr Croft at Charing Cross
