Examination TextHannah Randall aged 32 years in the workhouse of and belonging to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she is the wife of Richard Randall (gone to Virginia for four years), was married to him at the Eephant and Castle in the ffleet 17 years ago, that he is a Cabinet and Chair Maker by trade and served his apprenticeship with Mr Williams in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields which expired about one year before marriage, and afterwards continued to work with Mr Williams but never was a yearly hired servant kept house or apartment of 10 pounds by the year rent or paid any parish taxes since, has no children, has been gone nine years, heard from him last summer was 12 months.
