Examination TextAnne ffalconer aged 36 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields saith she is the wife of Robert (who died in 1732 or 3) to whom she was married at Montross in Scotland in 1719, that he was a master of a ship in the Virginia trade and never kept house rented 10 pounds per ann. or was a yearly hired servant in England, had one child by him living at his death to wit William then aged 18 months and lived till he was six years old, dying then the 30th of January 6 years ago, since which this Examinant was a yearly hired servant to Mr Bolier in Salisbury Street one year a at 5 pounds per ann. wages diet and lodging, that she left that service upwards of a year ago and never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant since. Sworn [the 20th Day of September 1742].
