Examination Text | Ann Tutty aged 24 years now in the workhouse of and belonging to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she was married to her present husband John Tutty (who works for Mr Whitehead in Beauforts Buildings) at the sign of the Hand and Pen in the Fleet about four years ago, that she hath heard him say he was an apprentice in Durham Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields but to whom or for how long or how long he served cannot say or ever heard, that he never kept any house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, that this Examinant was born in the Parish of St Brides London and never was bound an apprentice kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, hath one child living born in the workhouse not yet christened.
