Examination TextElizabeth Bawmor aged 39 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from St. John the Evangelist Westminster saith she is the wife of Robert Bawmor (who has been gone from her about a fortnight) to whom she was married at the Fleet on the 27th Day of November 1743, that he was a Cordwainer by trade and served his time with his Uncle in Hemmings Row in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, don't know when it expired, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, that she was married to her first husband Thomas White about 26 years ago at Tattenham High Cross, that he never was bound apprentice never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant for the space of the year, that he was born in Ireland but don't know whereabouts, that she has one child by him now living to wit Ann aged in 11 years now in Westminster.
