Examination Text | Mary Bird aged 23 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields saith she never was married or bound apprentice never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant for the space of a year, that she was born in the Hop Garden Bedfordbury in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, and has heard her father kept house in Sheltons Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields but does not know what rent he had, that he died about 15 years ago. Taken and sworn the seventh Day of August 1744. |
