Examination TextRuth Redhead aged 74 years lodging at a Fan Stick Maker's in Salisbury Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she is the widow of Leonard Redhead (who has been dead about 24 years) to whom she was married at the Fleet the 29 years ago, that he was a Glass Grinder by trade and served his time in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, but in what particular part of the Parish knows not, but believes it to be in some part of Long Acre in the said Parish, and knows not when it expired, that he lived in and rented an house in Langley Street Long Acre in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for several years, don't know for what particular time or what rent he paid for the same but believes it to be upwards of 10 pounds per ann., that he never kept house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant afterwards, nor she this Examinant since her said husband's death, nor has intermarried with any other Person since. Sworn the 19th Day of September 1744 before James Fraser.
