| Description | Considered the Case of James Haines 23 years of age, of Gloucester. His Uncle of the same name, keeps the White Hart at Cheltenham, who will be glad to see him. His Father was Head Groom at Messrs Fulkner & Ridley's in Fleet street; After whose death, his mother lived as servant successively in the Families of Sir Chas. Brice & Alderman Heygate. She is dead. Petitioner was apprenticed by The Parish of St. Bride to a Lady's shoemaker in Islington & served four years. He has been out of work since the end of last summer & has been imprisoned one month in Newgate for pledging a Coat, which had been stolen. He was discharged from Prison this day. He requests, that He may be enabled to go to Cheltenham. Resolved, That He have Clothing & money to the amount of 16/ -. |
