DescriptionWilliam Marrett, 18 years of age, Convicted upon his own Confession of stealing 2lbs of butter and sentenced to seven years transportation, having behaved very well in the Bellersphon Hulks, for three years, he was pardoned upon condition of his friends obtaining employment for him. His father obtained a written engagement from some person to employ Petitioner as a shoemaker until the age of 20 years. But when he arrived in London, he could neither find his father nor the person, who had undertaken to employ him. He came recommended by J. H. Copper, Esq. as one of the best behaved Convicts. Admitted.
