The Condicon of this obligacon is Such of Whereas the Church Wardens above
named Robt Marriott< no role > Ralph Alpert< no role > Wm Till< no role > & Wm. Fisher< no role > overseers of the poore of the
parish of St Clemt. Dane with assent of two Justices of the peace according to a statute
in that case made & pvided have putt Elizabeth dyer< no role > Apprentice to Mary Edward< no role >
and have given with the sd Apprentice the sume off three pounds
If therefore the above bounden John Edwards< no role > Mary< no role > his wife & John Aires< no role > or any of
them or any of their Beires Executors or Administr. doe well & sufficiently pvide for
Keepe & maintaine the siad Apprentice in by & with all & all manner of need full &
necessary meate drinke washing lodging apparrell linnen & all other necessaryes
meete & convenient for such and Apprentice dureing the said terme of Seaven
yeares And also well & Sufficiently serve defend Keepe Harmlesse & indempnified
the sd Church Wardens & overseers of the poore of the said parish & their
Successors. for the time being & all the Inhabitants of the sd parish which now
are & hereafter shall be & every of them off & from the charge of Keeping &
maintaineing the said apprentice dureing the terme aforesd And of and
from all accon of suites & taxacons whatsoever which the said parishioners
of St Clemt. Danes or any of them shall or may sustaine incurr or be putt
unto for or in respect of the said apprentice in any manner of wise then this
obligacon to be void or else to remaine in full force & vertue.
