This Indenture Witnesseth That Jeremiah Brodgate< no role > &
John Smith< no role > Church Wardens Robert Marriott< no role > Ralph Alport< no role > William Till< no role > &
Wm. Fisher< no role > Overseers of the poore of the parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County
of Middx with the Assent of Albine Claire< no role > & hugh Chamberlaine< no role > Esqrs
Justices of the peace for the County of Middx & Citty & Liberty of Westmr . according
to the statute in that case made & provided have putt Elizabeth dyer< no role > . Apprentice
to Mary Edwards< no role > Wiremaker & Rouls & with her after the manner of an
apprentice to dwell & serve form the day of the date hereof into the full end &
terme of seaven yeares from thence next ensueing & fully to be Compleate
and ended dureing all which said terme wee the said Church Wardens &
Overseers of the poore with the Assent aforesaid doe order & appointe that
the said Elizabeth dyer well & faithfully shall serve the said Mary Edwards< no role >
her Ferretts Keepe her Comandmts. lawfull & honest every where shall
gladly doe hurt to her said Mistresse Shee shall not doe or consent to be
done of others but that Shee shall prsent the same or else from time to
time admonish her thereof the goods of her sd Mistresse Shee shall
not wast nor them to any body lend without her consent neither from
her service by day or night shall not absent herself but in all things
as a good & faithfull sevt. ought to doe shall benane her self
towards her said Mrs. & all hers dureing the said terme Taverns or
Alehouses Shee shall not frequent At Cards dice or any other unlawfull
games Shee shall not play whereby her mistresse may receive any
prjudice but in all things shall behave herself inslly & honestly dureing
the said terme And the sd Mary Edwards< no role > shall teach & instruct her said
Apprentice in the trade Shee now vseth the best way or meaner Shee cann And
the said Mary Edwards< no role > shall give & find to her said Apprentice sufficient meate
drink washing lodging apparrell Linnen & all other necessaryes meete & convenient
for such an Apprentice dureing the said terme and for the true performance of
all ye Articles in for are aforesd to be kept the sd parties to these prsent
thereof bind themselves each to other by these prsents In Witnesse whereof

And fifth day of July Anno Dui. 1690
