Saint Clement Danes

to wit Ann Leatte< no role > aged about 33 years upon
her Oath saith that she Intermarried with Michael
Leatte at the Parish Church of Saint Mary Ottry in
the County of Devon in the year 1777 that her said
Husband died in the same year that since her said
late husbands Death she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with one Joseph Malpas< no role > at Chelsea in the
Parish of Saint George Hanover Square for Two
years and upwards at the yearly Wages of Eight
Guineas that she hath quitted said Service about
Two years since which time she has not done any
Act to gain a subsequent Settlement And
further this Examinant upon her Oath saith that
on the 20th. day of May last she was delivered of a
Male Bastard Child at the house of a Mr. Tully
in Alphabet bound Stanhope Street which hath
since been Christened by the Name of Wm< no role > . That
one Wm. Jameson< no role > who lives at No. 4 in King
Street Westmr . is the father thereof he having had
carnal knowledge of this Extd. Body and begotten
the said Child of which she was so delivered as
aforesaid And that the said Wm. Jameson< no role > is the only
real & true father thereof.
