Mary Cooper< no role > aged 33 Yrs. or thereabouts Upon
her Oath Saith, That she never was Married that she
lived as a hired Yearly Servant with a Mr. Vigans for
10about 10 Yrs., opposite the New Church in the Strand in the Parish of St. Clement Danes as
the yearly Wages of 7 Guineas, And further this
Examinant upon her Voluntary Oath Saith that she is
Pregnant with a Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
tochargeable to the sd. Parish of Saint Clement Danes
That one Mr. Jeremiah VigansVigiers< no role > This name instance is in set 2142. who lives with the sd. Mr.
Vigiers is the Father thereof, he having had carnal
Knowledge of this Examinants Body sometime in the
Month ofYear 1786 and at several times since
till the latter End of the Year 1788 at one of which times he did beget the said Child
or Children of which she is so pregnant, and that
the said Jeremiah Vigiers< no role > is the only true and real
Father thereof.
