Earminea Scanby< no role > Aged about 33 Years
upon Oath Says She was never Married Says
She lived a Yearly Servant with one Mr. Check
Apothecary deceased in Searl Street in the Parish
at St: Clement Danes in the liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Middlesex upwards of fifteen Months at
the Yearly Wages of five pounds hath quitted said
Service abt fifteen Years and hath not Since Rented
any house Paid Taxes or lived a hired yearly Servt. for one
Year And further upon her Voluntary Oath Says
She is Pregnant with Child or Children which is
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to
become Chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clement
Danes She being poor and Unable to Maintain the
same when Born Says that one Wm King< no role > a Chelsea
Pensioner had carnal knowledge of her Body in
the Month of Febry or March last past and at Sevl other times
Since at one of which times he got her with Child or of
the Child or Children with wch She now Pregnant And
that the said Wm King< no role > is the only true and lawfull
father
