Mary Gordon< no role > Aged about Twenty Six Years on
on her Oath Says She was never Married that She
lived a Yearly hired Servant with Mr. John Smith< no role >
a Breechesmaker in Carey Street in the liberty of
Westmr. in the County of Middx upwards of Three
Years at the Yearly Wages of five pounds hath
quitted said Service upwards of five Years and hath
not Since Rented House or Tenemt. of Ten Pounds
a Year or lived a Yearly hired Servt. with any Person
for one Year Since quitting her said Service And
further upon her Voluntary Oath Says that on the 2d
Day of June last past She was delivered of a Femal
Bastard Child in the House of Mary Johnson< no role > at Mays
Pond in the Parish of St Thomas in the Borough of
Southwark in the County of Surry which has Since
been baptized by the Name of Elizth. < no role > is now living &
become Chargeable to the Parish of St Clement Danes
Says that one John Milstead< no role > a Stage Coach man didgot
beget the said Female Bastard Child on her Body he having had
Carnal knowledge of her Body Sevl times at one of which times he
got her with Child of which She was delivered as aforesd. and
that the said John Milstead< no role > is the true and real father thereof
And further upon her Oath Says the sd John Milstead< no role > now
Absconds but Says she has been Informed and wch Information she
verily believes to be true that the sd John Milstead< no role > lives or resides
at Dartford in the County of Rent he having been often Seen thereforth [..]
