Ann Burn< no role > Aged about 36 Years upon her
Oath Says She is the Wife of Robert Burn< no role > with
whom She Intermarried in the Parish Church of St
Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex abt
Eleven Years ago by whom She had Sevl Children
all of whom are dead except one Named Elizth. < no role > Aged abt.
Ten Years Says her said husband is a Native
of Scotland but of what part this Examinant does
not know Says her said Husband never gained
any Settlement in England to her knowledge or
belief That he said Husband has been gone from
her about 6 years and is now in Norfolk in Virgina
as She this Examinant has been Informed and verily
believes the same to be true Says before her said
Intermarriage with the said Robert Burn< no role > and whilst
She was a Singlewoman She lived a Yearly hired Servt .
with Mrs Le Ploss who kept a Boarding School
in the Parish of St Mary Le Bone in the County of
Middlesex for one Year and an half at the Yearly Wages
of Six pounds and that after She quitted sd Mrs. Le Ploss's
Service never Rented a Tenemt. of Ten pounds a Year paid
any Taxes or lived a Yearly hired Servt. for one year with
any one Else
