Joseph Cawthorne< no role > aged about 51 years
upon Oath says he was bound Apprentice by Indenture
for Seven years to John Underwood< no role > Poulterer in
Carnaby Market in the Parish of St. James in the
Liberty of Westminster and with his said Master there
served upwards of One year and then parted by
Consent which is about 33 Years since Says he
rented a House of the yearly Rent of Nine pounds
ten shillings in Blackman Street in the Parish
of St. George Southwark in the County of Surry
for about Four Months and that he paid one year
Land Tax for same House but that the same was
due before he entered that he quitted the same about
13 years ago and hath not since rented any House
paid the Land Tax or Poor Rate That he intermarried
with his present Wife Ann< no role > at the Fleet London
in the Year 1742.
