The Examination of Robt. Norris< no role > aged abt. Sixty
Years who upon his Oath saith that he was passed
From the Parish of Alhallows the Great London by
Order bearing Date the 24th- Day of April Instant
taken the 27th. Day of April 1741 & that he lived
a Yearly hired Servt . with one Mr. Mathew
Fareless
< no role > in Milford Lane in the Parish of St.
Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx Charcoal
Man for the Space of Two Years had for the First
Years Wages Six Pounds & for the Second Year
Eight Pounds he being at that Time a Singleman
not having any Child or Children & hath been come
away from the sd. Mathw. Fareless< no role > Service abt.
Thirty Years & further upon his Oath saith yt.
he hath not since that Time rented £10 a Yr- pd.
Parish Taxes lived with any Person as a Yearly
hired Servt. for the Space of one Year or otherwise
gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to his [..] knowledge
or beleife & being Poor is not able to maintaine himself
