The Examination of Jno.. Brown< no role > aged abt. 21 Yrs-
Lodging in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the
County of Middx taken the 27th: Day of April 1745
Who upon his Oath saith that abt.. Eight Years ago he
lived with one Mr. Wm- Dayles< no role > in the Parish of
Saint Stephen in Coleman Street London
Victualler for the Space of Three Years & upwards & had
for such his Service Meat Drink Washing Lodging &
Cloaths & further on his Oath saith that he never rented
£10 a Year pd. Parish Taxes lived with any Person as
a Yearly hired Servt. for the Space of one Year or otherwise
gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to his knowledge or
beleife & being Sick & Poor is not able to maintaine himself
