The Examination of Sarah Hayton< no role > Widw . Lodging in
the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx
Taken the 6th. Day of Octr. 1739 Who upon her Oath saith
that her late Husband Richd. Hayton< no role > Deced lived in a House of
his own in Grays Inn Lane in the Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn
above the Barrs in the same County of the Yearly Value of
Twenty five Pounds & lived in ye. same upwds. of 30 Years
and this Examinant further saith that her sd. Husband in
his life time nor she this Examint. since his Death never
kept any other House Paid Parish Taxes lived with any
Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the space of one Year or
otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife that she is now Poor & Old & not able to
maintaine herselfe
